Mila Gvardiol – Visual Artist
My painting is rooted in architecture, yet ultimately speaks about the human experience. Through geometric forms, I explore relationships, encounters and distances, moments of choice and transformation. Each series raises questions that extend beyond the pictorial space: Where are we going? What are we striving for? And are we on the right path?

Architectural Variations / Interactions
Solo Exhibition
Lazar Vozarević Gallery, Sremska Mitrovica
October 1–16, 2026
Mila Gvardiol’s 48th solo exhibition opened at the Lazar Vozarević Gallery in Sremska Mitrovica. The exhibition brings together works from the series Architectural Variations and Interactions, tracing the development of her research from the architecture of New Belgrade to relationships, movement, and the interaction of geometric forms.
Divided into several sections, the gallery space allows this development to unfold from its initial inspiration toward new visual relationships. The calm, isolated forms of Architectural Variations begin to move, approach one another, overlap, and interact in Interactions, creating a new spatial and visual dynamic.
