CROSSROADS
The Crossroads series explores moments of transition and the choices that shape our paths through architectural symbols of intersection and movement. Roads that converge and diverge become metaphors for uncertainty, decision-making, and the points at which different directions briefly meet before separating again.
The large-scale compositions draw the viewer into the pictorial space, creating a sense of standing at the centre of a crossroads. The perspective is deliberately elevated, suggesting not only a view from above but also the possibility of stepping back, seeing the wider picture, and choosing one’s own direction.
Through intersecting lines, translucent layers and geometric forms, the paintings create a dynamic space in which boundaries between different paths seem to shift and dissolve. These crossroads offer no final answers; instead, they remain spaces of possibility, change and continuous movement.
The series invites the viewer to consider a simple yet fundamental question: Are we heading in the right direction?
